My Mission

Goose Pond Tileworks specializes in ceramic art tiles with distinctive styles created from unique carving techniques and artistry.

Goose Pond Tileworks was created to make a positive impact by connecting people's lives and bringing a sense of touch and earthiness to this increasingly digital world.

Goose Pond Tiles are designed to celebrate, delight, transform, and amuse. They bring beauty, wonder, and imagination to our everyday life.

Goose Pond Tileworks believes in contributing to the local economy. It sources all its materials in NH and MA. Every tile is made from scratch in Westmoreland, NH.

My Process

My process starts with an idea in my sketchbook. I then make a drawing on paper, digitize it and transform it into a CNC carving. After that, I do another round of carving by hand to refine the details.

I use silicone rubber to make a master, based on which I make a plaster mold with air-release.

I roll the clay into slabs, cut it, press it into the plaster molds, clean it up, and set it to dry for 7-10 days. The tile then goes through bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing. Each new design takes one to two months to create from start to finish.

I value craftsmanship and enjoy the pursuit of perfection. I believe that, if you put your heart and soul into your work, it can touch someone’s heart.
